Add Time Query Line
To create a series of time query points along a line segment within the solid material (i.e. rock or soil) use the Add Time Query Line option.
- Select the Dynamic workflow tab.
- Select Add Time Query Line from the toolbar or the Time Query sub-menu of the Dynamic menu.
- You will see the Specify Query Locations dialog, in which you enter the number of query points on the line segment. You may enter a value between 2 and 10. select [OK].
- You will be prompted to enter two points defining the Time Query Line. Use the mouse to enter the start and end points of the time query line segment, or you can enter x,y coordinates in the prompt line. After the second point is entered, the Time Query Line will automatically be added to the model, with the specified number of query points displayed.
A Time Query Line is limited to a single line segment, but any number of Time Query Lines can be defined.
Graphing Time Query Data
Time Query Line data can be graphed in the Interpret program with the Graph Time Query Lines option.
To assist with graph interpretation, the start point of a time query line is indicated by a larger black circle, and the subsequent query points on the line are shown as smaller circles.
