Drawing Performance

The Drawing Performance option is available in the toolbar or the Display Options dialog.

If this option is toggled on, the finite element mesh and boundary conditions will automatically be hidden whenever you perform certain actions, such as adding drawing tools, adding bolts or panning the view. The purpose of this option is to improve drawing performance (speed) for very large models (many thousands of elements). When you have completed the action the mesh visibility will be restored.

NOTE: this option is primarily intended for use with very large models. For typical RS2 models the Drawing Performance option is of little or no benefit and is not recommended. If you notice that the mesh flashes on and off while panning etc, then you should make sure this option is turned off.
