Right-Click Editing of Boundaries

Most of the boundary editing options in RS2 are also available as convenient right-click shortcuts. Right-click editing is very handy for quickly editing individual boundaries or vertices. Once you are familiar with this capability it will become a frequently used editing tool.

To use the right-click method:

  1. Right-click the mouse directly ON a boundary or a vertex.
  2. The boundary or vertex will automatically be selected, and you will see a popup menu with the applicable editing options.
  3. Select an editing option (e.g. Delete Boundary or Move Vertex) from the popup menu, and you can proceed to edit the selected boundary.

NOTE: if you need to simultaneously edit multiple boundaries or vertices, then you must select the editing option from the toolbar or the main RS2 menu, you cannot (simultaneously) select/edit multiple boundaries or vertices using the right-click method.

See the Right-Click Menus topic for a summary of right click editing options which are available in RS2.
