Edit Coordinates
The Edit Coordinates option allows you to view and edit the coordinates of any boundary in a convenient mini-spreadsheet.
To use Edit Coordinates:
- Select Edit Coordinates from the Edit sub-menu of the Boundaries menu. Edit Coordinates is also available in the toolbar if you select the drop-list arrow beside the Move Boundary toolbar button.
- Use the mouse to select the boundary you would like to edit. You may only select one boundary.
- When you have selected the boundary, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection.
- You will see the Edit Boundary Coordinates dialog, which will display the x,y coordinates of the selected boundary in a mini-spreadsheet. In this dialog, you can enter or edit coordinates as required. See the Coordinate Table section in the Entering Coordinates topic for more details.
Right Click Shortcut
The Edit Coordinates option is also available as a right-click shortcut. This is actually the most convenient way to use Edit Coordinates, because you do not have to go through Steps 1-3 (above), you simply right-click on a boundary and select Edit Coordinates from the popup menu.
