Temperature Grid

A Temperature Grid in RS2 is a user-defined grid of temperature distribution over a region in the model.

  • A Temperature Grid is created with the Temperature Grid option in the RS2 Model program.
  • Temperature Grids can only be defined in if the Thermal Analysis is enabled in Project Settings.
  • The defined Temperature Grid can be applied as the static temperature of the model if Thermal Method = Static Temperature. It can be applied as the initial temperature of the model if Thermal Method = Finite Element Analysis. See the Temperature Grid topic for details.
