Export Processed Pole Data

The Export Processed Pole Data option allows you to export your processed Pole Data Grid data to a Comma-Separated Values (.csv) file format. This enables you to share data with other applications, perform external analysis, or create backups of your processed results.

To export processed pole data to CSV:

  1. Select File > Export > Export Processed Pole Data
  2. The Export Processed Pole Data dialog opens with a list of Columns to Export and a Preview of the first 50 rows of export data.
  3. To add more columns for export, click the Add Column button and from the drop down select the column.
  4. To delete a column, click the Delete Column button beside the column you wish to delete.
  5. You can reorder columns by clicking and dragging the columns to export.
  6. Click Export.
  7. In the Save As dialog, enter a File Name and select Save to save a .csv file.

The export dialog allows you to select which data columns to include in your export. Available columns include:

  • Orientation Data (based on your reporting convention setting)
    • Trend - The trend angle of the pole (degrees)
    • Plunge - The plunge angle of the pole (degrees)
    • Dip - The dip angle of the discontinuity plane (degrees)
    • Dip Direction - The dip direction angle (degrees)
    • Strike Left - Strike measured with dip to the left (degrees)
    • Strike Right - Strike measured with dip to the right (degrees)
  • Measurement Data
    • Quantity - The quantity or count associated with the pole
    • Distance - Distance along traverse (in project length units)
    • Weight - Terzaghi weighting factor for bias correction
  • Spatial Data
    • X, Y, Z - Spatial coordinates of the measurement location (in project length units)
    • Persistence - The persistence/trace length of the discontinuity (in project length units)
  • Classification Data
    • Traverse - The traverse/data set name the pole belongs to
