Line Segment

The Line option allows you to add line segments anywhere on plot views.

To add a line:

1. Select Annotative Tools > Line from the Tools ribbon.
2. In the active (Stereonet 2D or Rosette) view, Left-click at the location you want the first point.
3. Move the mouse, and you will see the line segment on the screen, with the second point following the mouse.
4. Left-click again when the line is in the desired position.
5. The Edit Line dialog appears with options to modify the Line Format, Head Position and Tail Position. The Head Position and/or Tail Position can also be graphically modified by left-clicking and dragging the handles.
6. Click OK to finalize the Line and add it to the view.
