Ellipse

The Ellipse option allows you to add a circle or ellipse anywhere on plot views.

To add an Ellipse:

1. Select Annotative Tools > Ellipse from the Tools ribbon.
2. In the active (Stereonet 2D or Rosette) view, Left-click at the location you want the first point.
3. Move the mouse, and you will see the ellipse on the screen, with the second point following the mouse.
4. Left-click again when the second point is in the desired position.
5. The Edit Ellipse dialog appears with options to modify the Line Format, Fill Format, First Corner and Second Corner. The First Corner, Second Corner, and center can also be graphically modified by left-clicking and dragging the handles.
6. Click OK to finalize the Ellipse and add it to the view.
