Export Kinematic Analysis to CSV
The Export Critical Planes and Export Critical Intersections options in Dips allow users to export critical vectors identified by the current Kinematic Analysis settings to a CSV file.
To export critical planes:
- Select Kinematic Analysis from the Visibility tree.
- Select the Export Critical Planes button from the Properties pane.
- In the Save As dialog, enter a File Name and select Save.
To export critical intersections:
- Select Kinematic Analysis from the Visibility tree.
- Select the Export Critical Intersections button from the Properties pane.
- In the Save As dialog, enter a File Name and select Save.
Export Critical Planes
The list of critical pole planes is exported. For each critical plane, the following are exported:
- Dip/Dip Direction
- Quantity
- Weight
- Traverse
- Distance
- Set
- X
- Y
- Z
- Persistence
- Planar Sliding, as indicated by "Sliding"
- Planar Sliding (No Limits), as indicated by "Sliding"
- Flexural Toppling, as indicated by "Toppling"
- Direct Toppling (Base Plane), as indicated by "Sliding" or "Base"
Export Critical Intersections
For the current Intersection Type, the list of critical intersections is exported. For each critical intersection, the following are exported:
- Trend/Plunge (of the intersection)
- Quantity
- Quantity Weighted
- Plane 1 Dip/Dip Direction
- Plane 2 Dip/Dip Direction
- Direct Toppling, as indicated by "Direct Toppling" or "Oblique Toppling"
- Wedge Sliding, as indicated by "Sliding One Plane" or "Sliding Both Planes"
