Text
The Text option allows you to add static and/or dynamic text anywhere on plot views.
To add an text:
- Select Annotative Tools > Text
from the Tools ribbon. - In the active (Stereonet 2D or Rosette) view, Left-click at the location you want the center of the text box.
- The Edit Text dialog
appears with options to modify the Text Format, Line Format, Arrow
Style, and Position. The Position can also be graphically modified by
left-clicking and dragging the handle.
- To enter static text, type any text you wish in the Text area. Use the ENTER key to add multiple lines. This text will appear exactly as typed.
- To enter dynamic text, select from the list of Auto-Generated Text
options (i.e., File, Date and Time, Project Summary). This will insert
text placeholders (e.g., ${ProjectTitle}) corresponding to the Project
Summary's Project Title information (in the Project Summary dialog) and will be automatically updated if the source information is changed.
- Click OK to finalize the Text and add it to the view.
