Export Results
DIPS users have the option to export the results of their analysis for use (and further analysis) in other Rocscience programs.
To export your results:
- Select File > Export > Export Results in the menu.
DIPS will produce an output file with the extension .dipsresults. This single file contains all the necessary information from Dips to define a joint and can be imported into several Rocscience programs including in RocSlope2, RocSlope3, RocTunnel3, and UnWedge.
The information exported will include:
- Pole Data (processed)
- Dip
- Dip Direction
- Quantity
- Weight
- X, Y, Z
- Persistence
- Set
- Traverse
- Traverse
- For each traverse:
- Traverse ID
- Traverse Type
- Path as a polyline (list of X, Y, Z)
- Set
- For each set:
- Set ID
- Fisher Statistics
- Mean Dip
- Mean Dip Direction
- Fisher K
- Spacing Statistics
- Distribution Type
- Mean
- Standard Deviation
- Minimum
- Maximum
- Score
- Radius Statistics
- Distribution Type
- Mean
- Standard Deviation
- Minimum
- Maximum
