Add Circular Set Window

To facilitate the selection of Sets near the center of the stereonet, the Add Circular Set Window option can be used.

To add a Set Window:

1. Select Sets > Add Circular from the Stereonet 2D (or Rosette) ribbon.
2. Left-click to position the cone angle.
3. The Edit Circular Set Window dialog appears with options to modify the Name, Color, Orientation, Cone Angle and Set Statistics. The Orientation and Cone Angle can also be graphically modified by left-clicking and dragging the window handles.
4. Click OK to finalize the Circular Set Window and add it to the view.

Name

The Name acts as the set's identifier and must be unique (i.e., two Sets cannot have the same Name).

Color

The Color provides a graphical way to identify the Set Window. For any given Set Window, the Color is shared between all views.

Window Limits

The Orientation (i.e., center) and Cone Angle can be modified either in the Edit Curved Set Window dialog or graphically.

Set Statistics

Confidence and Variability limits can be computed for the selected intervals.
