Arrow
The Arrow option allows you to add arrows anywhere on plot views. This can be useful in conjunction with Text, for labeling purposes.
To add an arrow:
- Select Annotative Tools > Arrow
from the Tools ribbon. - In the active (Stereonet 2D or Rosette) view, left-click at the location you want the arrow to point to (i.e., head).
- Move the mouse, and you will see the arrow on the screen, with the tail following the mouse.
- Left-click again when the arrow is in the desired position.
- The Edit Arrow dialog appears with options to modify the Line Format, Arrow Style, Head Position and Tail Position. The Head Position and/or Tail Position can also be graphically modified by left-clicking and dragging the handles.
- Click OK to finalize the Arrow and add it to the view.
After an Arrow has been added, it can be moved, re-sized, formatted etc. See the Edit Tool topic for details.
