Filter Distributions

The Filter Distributions dialog allows the user to set:

  • Custom Range: Set the Minimum and Maximum range of the histogram.
  • Best Fit Distribution Filter: Select the distributions (e.g., Normal, Uniform, Triangular, Beta, Exponential, Lognormal, Gamma) to use for generating the Best Fit Distribution. By default, all distributions are considered.

The Filter Distributions dialog can be accessed in one of two ways:

  1. Select Chart Options > Filter Distributions Filter distributions from the Chart ribbon
  2. Select the Filter button from within the Histogram Plot dialog.
