Pole Data Grid Pane

In each Dips view, there is also a view-specific Pole Data Grid pane, which lists all the processed pole data for the Filter Applied in the current view. This allows for:

• Custom per-view visualizations of the data being plotted in tabular form against its graphical interpretation.
• One-to-one mapping of tabular pole entries per pole vector plotted in the Stereonet 2D view for pole selection. See the Select Poles topic for more information.

By default, the Pole Data Grid pane is collapsed.

To expand the Pole Data Grid pane:

1. In any Stereonet 2D, Stereonet 3D, Rosette, or Chart view, left-click on the Pole Data Grid tab at the bottom-right corner of the viewport.
2. Optionally, click the Pin button to keep the pane open or drag to dock or undock.
