Edit Symbols

The Edit Symbols option allows you to customize the symbols used for plotting Symbolic Plot.

To Edit Symbols:

1. Select Presets > Symbolic > Symbolic Options from the Stereonet 2D ribbon.
2. The Symbolic Options dialog appears. Make the appropriate selections.
3. Click the Edit Symbols button.
4. In the Symbol Editor dialog, choose the symbol to edit under Allocated Items and use the available options to customize the desired symbols:
1. Select the Style from the drop down
2. Select the Border color.
3. Optionally select the Fill checkbox and select the Fill color.
4. Set the Symbol Scale.
5. Click OK to save changes.

Defaults

The current selections can be set as the machine-level defaults for all future Symbolic Plots or can be restored to Dips defaults with the Defaults button and the following options, respectively.

• Make current settings the default
• Restore original program defaults
