New Project

To create a new Dips file:

1. Select the New button in the Home ribbon, or select File > New from the menu.

This will create a new blank project with the Pole Data Grid view open.

• The default Reporting Units for a new Dips file is Metric
• The default Reporting Orientation for a new Dips file is Dip/Dip Direction.

Dips files have a .dips9 filename extension
