Wick Drains Overview

Wick Drain / Relief Well options are located in the Groundwater menu. Selecting Groundwater > Add Wick Drain Region lets the user draw a segment on which to apply the wick drain or relief well. It is also possible to place a wick drain / relief well on your model by entering coordinates in the prompt window in the bottom right of the screen.

The Pressure Type on top can be either Pore Pressure or Total Head. The node associated with the boundary condition will keep those values during the simulation. Note that with wick drain condition, if the node has a lower value the assign boundary condition, it will automatically ignore the condition.
