Liner Interface Overview

A Liner Interface as defined in RS3 is a sliding joint or interface which can be used in conjunction with the Lining Composition option. An interface allows you to define a sliding interface:

  • between the rock/soil and the FIRST layer of a composite liner
  • between any two consecutive layers of a composite liner

The liner interface dialog can be used in the model's lining composition.

To open the dialog, select: Support > Liners > Define Joint Properties

For more information on defining liner interface properties and description of the parameters, refer to the Define Joint Properties.

For more information how to assign/add the liner interface, see the Lining Composition.
