Export Bolts to CSV File

With the Export Bolts to CSV File option, users can export bolt data including the geometry and assigned property to a .csv file. This file can be imported into other Rocscience 3D programs for further analysis.   

In this scenario the term "bolt" refers to all available support types in Slide3 except Geosynthetics.  

To Export a Bolt or Bolt Pattern to a CSV File:

  1. Select the Bolt or Bolt Pattern in the viewport or Visibility Tree.
  2. Select Support > Export Bolts to CSV File export bolts to csv icon
  3. Select the folder location you wish to save the .csv file to.
  4. Enter the file name and click Save.

  • Start X 
  • Start Y 
  • Start Z 
  • Trend 
  • Plunge 
  • Length 
  • Bolt Property (name)
