Export Surface Results

After computing, users have the option to export any results geometry using the Export Slip Surface option or the Export Slip Surface as Volume option.

To export results surface geometry:

1. Ensure results exist for the model.
2. Go to Interpret > Export Surfaces > Export Slip Surface.
3. Select the file type you would like to export the surface results as.
4. Click Export.

To export results volume geometry:

1. Ensure results exist for the model.
2. Go to Interpret > Export Surfaces > Export Slip Surface as Volume.
3. Select the file type you would like to export the surface results as.
4. Click Export.

Users can export a computed slip surface as one of the following file types:

• *.slide3dresobj (not available for volume export)
• *.rsgeomobj
• *.obj
• *.stl
• *.stlbin
• *.dxf
• *.dwg
• *.step
• *.stp
• *.iges
• *.igs
• *.off
• *.fbx
