Saving a File

Save and Save With File Size Optimizations

The model can be saved at any point by selecting the Save option from the toolbar or File menu. In the File menu, there are two options to save:

• Save
• Save With File Size Optimizations

Both options save all modelling entities, which includes geometry, support, mesh, etc. The Save option writes to a file as quickly as possible to save time, but without optimizing for a reduced file size. The Save With File Optimizations option takes longer to save than the Save option, but will reduce the file size considerably.

Save As

This option saves all modelling entities into a designated file location using the same algorithm as the Save option which writes to the file as quickly as possible without optimizing for a reduced file size.
