Supplemental Contours

If you are using either of the following options in your model:

• A Water Pressure Grid to model pore pressure
• A Discrete Strength Function to model shear strength of a material

then the Supplemental Contours option in the Data menu of the Slide2 Interpret program, can be used to view contours of the Water Pressure Grid data or the Discrete Strength Function data, directly on the model. The contours will be derived using the Interpolation Method chosen for the data.

Viewing these contours may help to determine if the input data is reasonable, or if errors have been made in the input data.
