Import from RSLog
Users can create soil profiles from their RSLog test holes using the Import from RSLog option. The following test hole data will be imported:
- Thickness
- Unit Weight
- Plasticity Index
- Shear Wave Velocity
- Shear Strength
- Water table info
If a user selects more than one test hole from their project, they will be imported as separate profiles.
To import your Test Hole data from RSLog:
- Select the Profile
tab and click Import from RSLog
- Users can import their test hole data by either logging into their RSLog account, or importing the data from a RSLog project data file (*..JSON). Select your preferred import option and click Next.
- If you logged in to your RSLog account, you will be shown a list of all of your projects containing test holes. If you imported a .JSON file, you will just see the imported project. Select the project you wish to import and click Next.
- All of the valid test holes for the project will be displayed. Select the test holes you wish to import and click Finish.
Your test hole data will be imported as a soil profile. If you selected more than one test hole, a soil profile will be created for each. Use the Profile drop down menu to switch between the soil profiles.
The Import from RSLog option is also available in the Mean Profile tab. The workflow to import a soil profile is the same as described above, except that the layers of the imported soil strata will be defined as Stratum, rather than individual soil layers.
