New Project

To create a new project with RSSeismic:

  1. Open the RSSeismic program.
  2. Select New Project New file.

A new blank project window will be opened.

If you are working on an existing an project and wish to create a new project:

  1. Select File > New Project in the menu or click on the New New file icon in the toolbar.

Before you start entering your soil profile details:

  • Define your analysis method the Project Setup tab. Various analysis and soil profile parameters are set in the Project Setup tab.
  • See the RSSeismic Tutorials for a lesson on the main functions of RSSeismic.
When RSSeismic is first started, you will be presented with the option to create a new, blank project named "Project1," open an existing project, or open the Motion Manager to just utilize the motion functions in RSSeismic.
