Zoom and Pan
The model can be zoomed/panned in the Plan View and 3D View in various ways. The zoom and pan options are available in the toolbar, the Zoom sub-menu of the View menu, and through various keyboard and mouse shortcuts, as described below.
Zoom All
The Zoom All option resets the model to its default size and location in the view. Zoom All is available in:
- The toolbar
- The default right-click menu
- The F2 function key
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
Zoom In
The Zoom In option zooms in to 90% of the original view area. Zoom In is available in:
- The toolbar
- The F5 function key
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
- Rotate mouse wheel forward
Zoom Out
The Zoom Out option zooms out to 111% of the original view area. Zoom Out is available in:
- The toolbar
- The F4 function key
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
- Rotate mouse wheel backward
Zoom Window
The Zoom Window option allows you to zoom into any rectangular region of the Plan View. Zoom Window is available in:
- The toolbar
- The default right-click menu
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
Zoom Mouse
The Zoom Mouse option allows you to zoom in or out continuously in the Plan View, by clicking and dragging the mouse up or down. Zoom Mouse is available in:
- The toolbar
- The default right-click menu
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
Pan
The Pan option allows you to move the model in any direction within the view, by clicking and dragging the mouse. Pan is available in:
- The toolbar
- The default right-click menu
- The F10 function key
- The Zoom sub-menu of the View menu
- Click and drag the mouse wheel
Additional Zoom Options
Additional zoom options are available which are only applicable for the 3D View, and allow you to zoom to the top or bottom of the model or any vertical contour plane generated by a line query. See the Zoom to Plane topic for details.
