Preferences

In the Preferences dialog you can set the following:

• Author
• Company
• Tab display (default setting is Show)
• Tools toolbar visibility (default setting is Show)
• Toolbar button size (default is Large)
• File saving preferences
• Circular load discretizations

Clicking Restore to Defaults will restore the default preferences.

File Saving

There are three File Saving options.

• Selecting the Prefer uncompresssed (.s3d) file format option will save Settle3 files as .s3d files instead of .s3z files.
• The Save view options option allows you to save the display options, contour options, etc. between files.
• The Save and re-open all additional views option allows you to save any graphs that you have created. When the file is opened the next time, the graphs will open as well.

This is the number of discretizations around a circular load.
