Export Data to Excel
The raw analysis data from Point Queries, Line Queries and the Field Point Grid, can be exported directly to a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet, using the Export Data to Excel option. To export data:
- Select Export Data to Excel from the Export sub-menu of the File menu.
- In the dialog, select the data you would like to export using the options provided:
- Data to export - select the data types (e.g. total settlement, excess pore pressure)
- Query type - select the query types (point query, line query, field point grid)
- Location - select Surface Data to export only the data at the ground surface, Depth Data to export all data including results below the ground surface, or Time Data to export data at each stage for time-dependent models.
- Select OK, and all of the selected data will be exported to an Excel spreadsheet.
Query results can also be exported to Excel after using the Graph Query option, with the Chart in Excel right-click option. See the Export Query Results topic for details.
Note on using Export Data to Excel with a Reference Stage
As mentioned above, the raw analysis data (without using the reference stage) is exported. If you have defined a reference stage, only the stages after that reference stage are exported. If no reference stage is defined, all stages are exported.
