Figures

In RSLog, users can generate report figures showing the locations of all projects and test holes on the map.

To access this page:

Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Reporting > Figures.

The page should appear as follows:

Different types of figures can be generated for your report including:

  • Project Location
  • Test Holes Location
  • Cross Section

Project Location

This page features a map showing the Location of Project. You can zoom or move the map, or toggle between Map and Satellite view to your desired setting.

Note: To specify the location of a project, you will need to enter a Project Location (address) on the Project definition page. This allows you to put a pin on the map for the project.

To generate a project map figure:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Report > Figures > Project Location.
  2. Select report template from Figure Template drop-down menu. To customize it, click the edit icon next to the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the Title of the figure.
  4. Click Generate Project Map Figure.

Test Holes Location

This page features a map showing the Location of Test Holes specified by the user. You can zoom or move the map, or toggle between Map or Satellite view to your desired setting.

Note: To specify the location of an individual test hole, go to General tab of the Test Hole page, and click the 'Click to Locate on Map' button. This allows you to put a pin on the map for the test hole.

To generate a test hole map figure:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Report > Figures > Test Holes Location.
  2. Select report template from Figure Template drop-down menu. To customize it, click the edit icon next to the drop-down menu.
  3. Enter the Title of the figure.
  4. Click Generate Project Map Figure.

Cross Section

This page allows you to create reports incorporating the scaled copy of the cross section(s) in the PDF file.

To generate a cross section map figure:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Report > Figures > Cross Section.
  2. Select the cross section from the drop-down menu. To customize it, click the edit icon next to the drop-down menu.
  3. Select the report template you would like to use for the cross section from the Figure Template drop-down menu. To customize it, click the edit icon next to the drop-down menu.
  4. Enter the Title of the figure.
  5. Click Generate Project Map Figure.
