Non-Tapered Piles

Rolled Sections

The following input parameters are required for defining a Rolled Section:

  • Type of Rolled Section - users can select from a library of predefined piles
  • Pile Perimeter for Skin Friction - This is the perimeter that will be used for the skin friction capacity computations. The two options are Rolled Section Perimeter and Box Perimeter.
  • Tip Area for End Bearing - This is the bottom area of the pile that will be used for end bearing capacity calculations. The three options are Rolled Section Area, Box Area, and User Select.
