Cap Designer
The lateral analysis of a group of piles, connected by a cap, can be done in the Group Pile Analysis mode. Within a group, piles can be different types or sizes, be installed on different batter angles, and consist of different materials. The Cap Designer is used to define the pile locations, loading and connectivity.
The Cap Designer can be accessed by selecting Piles > Add (Pile Group) 
, and is where all information related to the group analysis is input.
The Designer has a 2D and 3D view which are dynamically updated as you specify the pile layout and loading.
The group is designed using the following tabs:
