Add Pile Pattern

For the Axial and Lateral analysis modes, the following tabs are available in the Add Pile Pattern dialog:

  • Geometry
  • Pattern (see below)
  • Loading - each pile in the pattern has the same pile head loading. The loads are defined in the same way as for a single pile.
  • Tractions
  • Displacement - the displacement options for multiple piles are the same as for a single pile. The same displacement setting is used for every pile in the pattern.
  • Multipliers - the multipliers options for multiple piles are the same as for a single pile. The same multiplier setting is applied to every pile in the pattern.

PATTERN

The pile locations can be specified using the Rectangular or User-Defined Locations options.

Using the Pattern option, the following must be entered:

  • Angle from horizontal
  • Number of Rows X
  • Spacing in X
  • Number of Rows Y
  • Spacing in Y

User-defined pile locations are entered in a table format.
