Internet Updates

The following features are available in the Help > Product Updates menu, which allows you to make sure you always have the latest version of the UnWedge program.

Check for UnWedge Updates

From the UnWedge menu, select Help > Product Updates > Check for UnWedge Updates. This will connect you to the Rocscience website and will determine if you have the latest version of the program. If not, you will be able to download the latest version for free, if it is a minor program upgrade (i.e., bug fixes)

Check for Rocscience Updates

To check for the latest versions of ALL Rocscience software that you have installed on your computer, select Help > Product Updates > Check for Rocscience Updates.

Check for Updates Automatically

By default, each time you start UnWedge, the program will attempt to connect to the Rocscience website, in order to check for the latest version of the program. To turn this feature OFF:

• From the UnWedge menu, select Help > Product Updates and toggle off the Check for Updates Automatically option by clicking on it.

You may want to turn this feature off if you are seeing a Connect To dialog when you start the program and you do not wish to connect to the internet or check for an update (e.g., if you are using a laptop not connected to the internet or you have a slow internet connection).
