Duplicate (Once)

This option allows users to create copies of the selected geometry.

You can make multiple copies of any geometry entity as follows:

1. Select the Geometry workflow tab.
2. Select any geometry entity or entities that you wish to copy.
3. Select Duplicate (Once) from the Geometry > Duplicate menu. Input the following parameters in the Copy Entity dialog:
   • Copies: the number of desired copies
   • Define by: methods for defining the direction vector. The direction vector is used to specify the direction in which copies will be generated from the centre of the original copy. The direction can be defined by:
     • X, Y, or Z-axis
     • Custom vector or
     • Pick from Geometry to use existing geometry as the direction vector
   • Spacing: distance between copies along the defined direction vector.
4. Select OK.
