Import RS3 File

This option allows importing of model files from the RS3 program for rock path analysis.

To import an RS3 file:

1. Select File > Import > Import RS3
   
2. Select the file you want to import.
3. Click Open to import the selected file.

After importing you should verify that the geometry, supports, etc have been correctly imported.

Note:

Importing RS3 Models is limited at the moment.

• Material assignments are not currently importing. Material regions must being manually defined.
  
• The top surface might not be properly found from all volumes, especially when multiple external surfaces exist.
• RocFall3 only imports the first stage of an RS3 model right now, so multi-stage models may have issues.
• DFNs are not currently importing.
