Draw Arrow

The Arrow option allows you to create an arrow annotation.

To add an Arrow:

  1. Select Draw Arrow Arroe icon from the Annotate menu.
  2. Enter the first point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line. (Snapping may be useful here).
  3. This is (initially) the end that the head of the arrow is located.
  4. As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location.
  5. Enter the second point graphically with the mouse, or enter x-y coordinates in the prompt line, and the Arrow will be added to the view.

Tips:

  • Double-click on the Arrow to bring up the Properties Pane options. In the Properties Pane, you can edit the Arrow appearance, and edit the coordinates of the two ends.
  • In the Properties Pane, you can change the location of the arrowhead. Select Arrow at Head or Arrow at Tail.
