Edit or Delete Joint Surface

Joint Surfaces can be edited and deleted after creation in RocSlope3.

Editing Joint Surfaces

To edit a Joint Surface:

  1. Select Joint Surface node from the Visibility Tree.
  2. In the Properties pane:
    1. Change the Joint Property from the Applied Property dropdown or click the Edit edit pencil icon button to bring up the Define Joint Property dialog for editing.
    2. Change the Transparency of the synthetic joints using the slider, edit, or spin control. By default, Transparency = 0%.
The geometry of Joint Surfaces added by Add Joint Surface option cannot be edited. It comes from a surface or face which is discretely defined. See the Discrete Joint Surfaces topic for more information.

Deleting Joint Surfaces

To delete a Joint Surface:

  1. Select Joint Surface node from the Visibility Tree.
  2. Click the Delete delete icon button next to the entry in the Visibility Tree.
