Translate Blocks Overview

The block translations allow users to animate the movement of Removable Blocks in their sliding direction.

If a block is not Removable, then it does not have a possible valid sliding direction, and is therefore indefinitely stable. These blocks will not be able to translate. If a block is Removable, but indefinitely stable (i.e., direction of driving force points into the joint socket), then an arbitrary valid direction of sliding is used for translation. If a block is Removable, and has a valid sliding direction, then its actual sliding direction is used for translation.
