Rotational Kinetic Energy

To create a rotational kinetic energy graph for a barrier or data collector:

  1. Select Graph Barriers/Collectors Graph Barriers/Collectors icon or Graph Berms Graph Berms icon from the Graphs menu or the toolbar.
  2. The Graph Barriers and Collectors or Graph Berms dialog will appear.
  3. Select the barrier, berm, or data collector of interest from the list on the left side of the dialog.
  4. Select Rotational Kinetic Energy from the Data to Plot list.
  5. Choose the Graph Type. Your options are Histogram Plot or Cumulative Frequency.
  6. If you selected Cumulative Frequency and Percentage (%), specify the sampler location with the Show Marker at input, or deselect Show Marker at.
  7. Specify the Number of Bins.
  8. Select Graph to plot the barrier/berm/collector data specified.

The horizontal axis of the rotational kinetic energy graph is the rotational kinetic energy of impact and the vertical axis is the number of rocks that impacted with rotational kinetic energies within the indicated bin ranges.
