Axes Display

The Axes option in the toolbar or the View menu can be used to toggle on or off the display of coordinate axes in the Top, Front and Side views of the model, within the Wedge View.

Notes:

  • the units of the axes correspond to the Unit System you are using, as selected in the Project Settings dialog (i.e. meters or feet).
  • the origin of the coordinate system for the axes is the lowermost vertex of the wedge on the slope face (i.e. the intersection of Joint 1, Joint 2 and the slope face). This defines the point (0, 0, 0).

Although an SWedge model is not defined using absolute coordinates, the display of axes can help you to estimate the dimensions of the wedge from various viewing angles.
