Overview of Automation

Automation features in RocTopple provide the advanced user a quick and efficient way of computing several Deterministic, or Probabilistic analysis cases.

Two automation options exist:

Batch Compute

Use Batch Compute if you are looking to compute several already saved RocTopple models and generate results for each model. This feature reduces the manual work involved in opening each RocTopple file individually and exporting the computed results for each file.

Automate from Excel

Use Automate from Excel, if you are looking to compute several RocTopple models of the same Analysis Type (i.e., Deterministic, Probabilistic), but varying input data values. This features reduces the manual work involved in changing parameters in the Input Data dialog, Seismic Load dialog, and Water Pressure dialog, and exporting the computed results for each case.
