Internal Rock Strength

When you use the Block Flexural Toppling model in your RocTopple analysis, you can specify the shear strength parameters for the internal rock joints using the Internal Rock Strength tab in the Input Data dialog. To open the tab:

  1. Select Input Data on the toolbar or the Analysis menu or press F3.
  2. Select the Internal Rock Strength tab.

NOTE: The Internal Rock Strength tab is available only when the Block Flexural Toppling model is selected in Project Settings. In addition, shear strength parameters for the internal rock joints can be modeled using only the Mohr-Coulomb strength criteria.
