Measure
The Measure option allows you to measure the distance and angle between any two points on a view. To use Measure:
- Select Tools > Annotations > Measure
from the Tools ribbon. - Select the first point graphically with the mouse by left-clicking.
- As you move the mouse, a line will connect the first point to the current cursor location, and the length and angle of the line will be displayed on the screen.
- Select the second point graphically with the mouse and the Measure line will be added to the view, with the length and angle displayed.
After a Measure line has been added, it can be moved, duplicated, formatted, etc. See the Edit Tools Overview topic for details.
For more flexible length and angle dimensioning, use the Dimension Tools options, rather than the Measure option.
