Start a Project

New Project

To start creating a new RocSupport project, click on the "New" toolbar button, or select File > New from the menu. A default Ground Reaction View will immediately appear on the screen. To select a solution method, open the Project Settings dialog. To change tunnel and rock properties open the Tunnel and Rock Parameters dialog.

Open Existing Project

To open an existing RocSupport project file, click on the "Open" toolbar button, or select File > Open from the menu. You can also use the drop-down button next to the Open icon to open recent files. RocSupport project files have an .rsp filename extension.

After a project is opened, RocSupport automatically performs the analysis. In the Deterministic analysis mode the calculations are instantaneous, but Probabilistic analysis might take some time depending on the number of samples chosen. The progress of the analysis is indicated in the status bar.
