Planar Analysis Window
The Planar View provides a 3-dimensional perspective view of the RocSlope2 Planar model, as shown in the following figure.
The Planar View is displayed by default along with the Wedge and Toppling Views when you create a new RocSlope2 file. You can access the Planar View singularly at any time in a few different ways:
- Select Home > Analysis Window > Planar
- Select the Planar Analysis tab between the menu bar and the viewports.
- Double-click the Planar model in the viewport.
Planar Analysis Results Details are only accessible when the Planar Analysis Window is viewed individually.
Additionally, the formed sliding block in the Planar Analysis Window is a functional component of the model. To move the sliding block:
- Hover the cursor over the sliding block, this will change the cursor icon to vertical arrows.
- Click and drag up or down to move the sliding block.
To return the block to its default position:
- Right-click on the Planar model.
- Select Reset Block Translation to return the sliding block back to its original position.
Select Reset All Block Translation in the right-click menu to move all functional blocks in each analysis window to the default position.
The user has control over the following aspects of the Planar View:
- Rotating the Model
- Moving the Block
- Resizing the Views
- Zoom and Pan
- Display Options
