The following is a listing of major feature additions which have been made in the latest Maintenance + release of Dips.

- NEW: Added Orientation Data dialog for inputting traverse, survey and discontinuity data (replaces Traverse Information dialog and Grid Data in legacy Dips). Inputs are measurement unit-aware.
- NEW: Added Pole Data grid of processed poles in the selected Unit Reporting Convention and Orientation Reporting Convention (replaces Grid Data in legacy Dips).
- NEW: Improved performance to handle up to a million discontinuities (125x data increase from the previous hard limit of 8,000 entries).
- NEW: Added Import CSV to
import orientation data from a comma-delimited text file (.csv) or
Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file (replaces Import Wizard in legacy Dips).
- NEW: Added Import RSLog to import discontinuity data from online and offline APIs.

- NEW: Added Visibility and Properties panes for entity visibility, editing, and selection management.
- NEW: Added Synthetic Joints to generate random joints and joint sets.
- NEW: Added Report Generator to generate a printable report of project settings, results, and open views (replaces Info Viewer in legacy Dips).
- CHANGED: Improved freehand window drawing and added Edit Coordinates grid.
- CHANGED: Replaced multi-project application to a single-project application with multiple views.
- CHANGED: Replaced menu with ribbons.
- CHANGED: Improved interactive graphical user interface in Stereonet 3D view.
- REMOVED: Scatter Plot stereonet preset.
- REMOVED: Print and Batch Print.
