Coordinates

Although an SWedge model is not defined using absolute coordinates, a coordinate system is in effect for the Top, Front and Side views of the model, within the Wedge View. When the cursor is moved within the Top, Front or Side views, you will see coordinates corresponding to the cursor location within the view, displayed in the Status Bar, at the lower right of the application window.

NOTES:

  • The origin of the coordinate system is the lowermost vertex of the wedge on the slope face (i.e. the intersection of Joint 1, Joint 2 and the slope face). This defines the point (0, 0, 0).
  • The units of the coordinate system correspond to the Unit System you are using, as selected in the Project Settings dialog (i.e. meters or feet).
  • Axes can be displayed with the Axes option in the View menu.
  • Coordinates are NOT available in the Perspective view.
