Plan / 3D View

The Plan/3D View is the main modelling and results viewing screen in Settle3. The Plan/3D View is a two-part, split-screen view which displays:

• a 2-dimensional Plan View of the model on the left
• a 3-dimensional view of the model on the right

The Plan/3D View is displayed by default when you begin creating a new model, or when you open an existing Settle3 file.

Plan View

The Plan View (i.e. the left-hand pane of the Plan/3D View) is the view in which the geometry of the model is defined and edited. See the Plan View topic for details.

3D View

The 3D View (i.e. the right-hand pane of the Plan/3D View) presents a 3-dimensional display of the model and analysis results. See the 3D View topic for details.
