Export Queries

The Export Queries option allows you to export material queries from the current RS2 file to a .p2i file.

The queries can then be imported into other RS2 files using the Import Queries option.

To export queries:

1. Select Export Queries from the Export sub-menu of the File menu.
2. You will see the Export Queries dialog. Choose Export All if you want to export all queries, or choose Export Selected Only if you want to export only selected queries. Select OK.
3. If you chose Export All (in Step 2) you will see a Save As dialog. Enter a filename and all queries will be saved to a .p2i file.
4. If you chose Export Selected Only (in Step 2), you will first be prompted to select the queries that you wish to export. Use the mouse to select the desired queries. When you are finished selecting, press Enter or right-click and select Done Selection. You will see a Save As dialog. Enter a filename and the selected queries will be saved to a .p2i file.

NOTE:

• The queries saved in a .p2i file can be imported into other RS2 files using the Import Queries option.

• Queries can also be imported directly from RS2 .fez files using Import Queries. In general, it is not necessary to export a .p2i file, unless you wish to save the queries with a different filename.
