Export

In RSLog, users can export their project data to various file formats.

To access this page:

Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Reporting > Export.

The page should appear as follows:

The Export Data option allows you to export data in 3 different ways:

  • Projects List (CSV)
  • Projects Data (JSON)
  • Projects Data (Excel)

Projects List (CSV)

This exports the list of all selected projects in your company database to file in CSV format.

To export data:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Reporting > Export.
  2. Click on Export button at the top of the table and click Export List (CSV). This will download a CSV file.

Projects Data (JSON)

This exports the complete data of all selected projects and their boreholes in JSON format.

To export data:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Reporting > Export.
  2. Use the ‘Search for a record ...’ option to narrow down the list of projects in the table. Alternatively you can select projects in the table by using the checkbox on the left side of each row.
  3. Click on Export button at the top of the table and click Projects Data (JSON). This will download a file in JSON format for each selected project.

Projects Data (Excel)

This exports the complete data of all selected projects and their boreholes in Microsoft Excel format. The structure of these Excel files are the same as the RSLog Excel Templates.

To export data:

  1. Go to the left-hand navigation menu and select Report > Export.
  2. Use the ‘Search for a record ...’ option to narrow down the list of projects in the table. Alternatively you can select projects in the table by using the checkbox on the left side of each row.
  3. Click on Export button at the top of the table and click Projects Data (Excel). This will download a JSON file for each selected project.

In order to export specific data of a borehole such as list of samples, soil/rock layers, or field / lab test results you should use the Export CSV button on the toolbar located at the top of each tables (see below).
